Hey, I have the i phone 3gs. I've had it for almost 2 months, and love it. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to delete apps?? Thank you.
To delete an app,
Tap once to get your voice over cursor on the app, then hold your finger down, you hear two sounds, and the app will flash. Once you hear the second sound, double tap the app, and a message will pop up asking you to delete, then to rate the app.
I'm trying that, and whenever I tap, it brings me into the app.
Your double tapping it then. Tap it once, then on the second tap that would take you into the app, hold your finger down. Then you'll hear those two clicks, then tap the app and voice over should say delete then the name of the app.
Makes me wish I could have spent more time playing with the thing when I went to my local AT&T store. About the only thing that really concerns me about the IPhone is text messaging. But if the latest firmware supports a blutetooth keyboard that takes care of my problem right there.
Idk... It's not working for me... I'm this close to throwing it lol
I think you can delete them through iTunes as well.
I guess I'll have to get the hang of using ITunes and Window-Eyes then.
You can, if you can sync them over which everytime I try it says I'm not authorized to do it. I only have nymbuzz, facebook and myspace on mine though.
Tiger try this.
Tap, go for that second tap, but hold down for a few seconds and it'll flash and make a sound.
So its
Tap, hold
then after the sound
tap, double tap.
I don't believe the bluetooth profile supports keyboards on the iPhone just yet. would be nice but i would say i recently tried one again with the method of using one finger to find what i was looking for and then keeping that finger on the item and using a different finger to double tap and that is easier .. still don't know that i wouls shell out for one though.
i use that too when i txt when borrowing my roomate's iphone
